Reports: Matthew Fox Accused Of Punching Woman

Former "Lost" star Matthew Fox has reportedly been accused of allegedly punching a woman.

The actor attempted to board a private party bus on Saturday night in Cleveland, TMZ, Cleveland's WKYC-TV 3 and other outlets have reported.

According to a police report obtained by Access Hollywood, Heather Bormann, a 29-year-old bus driver, claimed she told the suspect - whom TMZ and WKYC have identified as Fox - that he was not allowed to board the bus after he asked for a ride to his hotel. She then goes on to claim that the suspect began to punch her in the stomach and chest.

Bormann then swung back at the suspect, hitting him in the face, causing his lip to bleed.

The bus driver told authorities she might have broken her hand during the incident.

According to the police report, the suspect - who refused medical treatment - was released to a friend and then taken to a hotel. He was detained by authorities, but not charged or arrested.

Fox currently has two movies in production, "World War Z" with Brad Pitt, and "I, Alex Cross," with Tyler Perry, which is shooting in both Cleveland and Detroit.

A rep for Fox was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood .

Not charged or arrested. Sounds like the bus driver saw opportunity, but the authorities were not convinced. I would bet money straight up that he is not the one responsible for the altercation. He would have too much at stake.

I think some bus driver is looking for her 15mins of fame and a pay out!! Really hitting her in her stomach and chest and then she punched him in the mouth... How was she breathing at that point? This country! I'm embrassed!!!

  I do believe if I had gotten punched in the stomach I would be doubled over and unable to punch anyone in the face. I am sure I would be in a lot of pain about that time. Her story just sounds fishy.

It sounds to me like she is covering her #$%$ for hitting him. Why are there no reports of witnesses? This did happen on a bus and I would #$%$ume there were others on the bus. How come no one is stepping forward to corroborate her story? Why is it that we all believe it right away when a woman accuses a man of abuse?

There is no mystery here. He went to get on a bus, she told him he wasn't allowed on and so he hit her. Now the mystery is are we going to watch the things this guy does next or ignore him and hope he goes away quietly. I vote for ignoring him whether he goes quietly or not.

  The mystery is that YOU don't know for sure if it was really him that hit her, if she was really hit. Do you always believe EVERYTHING you read online or in the papers? Ummm, yeah I am sure you do. Why not wait and see what becomes of this, if anything does, and then you can decide to ignore him or not.
  If he did hit her, why has no one come forward and said they saw it all happen? I am sure the police talked to everyone around, on the bus and on the street, that might be able to say they witnessed what happened but since there were no charges filed against him, apparently there must have been no crime (at least not by Matt). Fishy story from the git go. Think about it. He was punching her in the stomach and yet she was able to punch him in the face??? If someone punched me in the stomach I believe I would have been doubled over and unable to punch him in the face.
