After what seemed like an extra long mid-season break, "Revenge" is back. Over the last few weeks, fans have had time to speculate how the rest of the season will play out. From the very first episode, fans were hooked. The dynamic between the characters and the storyline are some of the best things television has seen in recent years. The latest episode has fans asking more questions than before.
All along fans have been questioning the sanity of Tyler, and now they know the answer. After Emily found the anti-psychotic pills in his things, she outed him to everyone. It was apparent that he was a little "off" when the previews showed him holding a gun to Emily's head. As it turns out, the gathering was for Daniel's birthday. We watched as Tyler stabbed Nolan and then left him tied up while he took off to make an appearance at the clam bake. When Tyler's brother showed up, Jack tackled him and he was taken down.
There were hints dropped in this episode that makes the paternity of Charlotte Grayson questionable. We know that Emily is roughly the same age as Daniel, but Charlotte is much younger. Since Victoria was sleeping with David Clarke, it is very possibly that Emily could have a little sister. This would be a shocking turn of events, but as we have seen in the past, nothing is off-limits for this show. From the beginning, fans were assuming that Daniel was going to marry Emily for love. When the previews came on, we were enlightened that he could only get his trust if he was married. This now becomes an entirely different ballgame.
We still are unsure who shoots Daniel on the night of his engagement party, especially now that Tyler has been carted off by the police. Emily did a good job sticking the bodyguard's wallet on him, and now Tyler will be charged with the murder Amanda committed. It looks like someone else will be the culprit for shooting Daniel, which brings Amanda back into the limelight. She is incredibly jealous of the friendship Emily and Jack have, and she just may be pushed over the edge by them.
We now have another 12 weeks or so before the season ends, and anything is possible. Fans are eager to see how things will play out and finally get answers to the questions they have had all season long.
