Ricky Gervais brings back David Brent for 'The Office' special!

The world's worst boss is back!

The cringeworthy David Brent is returning to our televisions when Ricky Gervais revives the character for a special episode of "The Office" to benefit Comic Relief.

"I thought it was time to revisit my most famous comedy creation to find out what he's been up to for the last decade and most importantly what he's up to now," Gervais said in a statement.

As Brent himself says in the trailer, "What's happened in the last 10 years? What hasn't happened in the last 10 years?"

Last we saw David Brent, in 2003's two-part Christmas special, he'd become a traveling salesman after being made redundant (aka getting laid off) at Wernham Hogg.

Fast forward 10 years and David is … still a sales rep. But on the side, he's managing an up-and-coming singer, Dom Johnson.

"He is trying to worm his way back into rock and roll," Gervais said. "Fans of 'The Office' will be excited to know we finally get to hear the whole of 'The Serpent Who Guards the Gates of Hell' and an amazing Brent self-funded video, 'Equality Street.' Horrendous."

    Horrendously amazing, you mean!

The episode will air March 15 -- Red Nose Day -- on BBC One, and will be available for streaming on Gervais's YouTube channel.
