"The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family," Creation Entertainment (the group that puts on the conventions) told the website, noting that Taylor Lautner will be absent as well. "Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!"

The conventions are set to take place in Texas, Michigan, New Jersey and California (Los Angeles) prior to the November 16 release of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2."

Kristen, 22, has yet to make a public appearance since her relationship with married "Snow White and the Huntsman" was revealed last month.

Rob returned to the spotlight last week to promote his latest film, "Cosmopolis," with televised appearances on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "Good Morning America," where the actor remained tight-lipped regarding the cheating scandal when asked by "GMA's" George Stephanopoulos how he was coping.

"I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life and that's really the only reason people bring it up," he said.
