When the teaser trailer for director David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis debuted late March, at least one thing was certain -- this was about as radical a departure from the sparkly Edward Cullen role Robert Pattinson could get.

But now that we get to see the impressive full American trailer, it's safe to say this movie isn't just different from Twilight -- but probably from any film we've ever seen.

Though whether you can figure out the film's plot or not, one thing is for certain -- this is Pattinson's big chance for audiences to see him in a gritty, non-romantic role -- and he's clearly going for it.
