YOUR FRIENDS' ACTIVITY

How Will Robin Deal with Lily's Baby on 'How I Met Your Mother'?

Now that Robin cannot have children of her own, how will she feel about Lily and Marshall's new bundle of joy when it arrives on "How I Met Your Mother"? It is most likely she will not be able to keep her feelings in check, and the secret that she has been trying to keep will come out. There is no way she will be able to keep her unhappiness to herself.

You have to wonder if she will be able to hold the baby or be able to babysit. Then again, she may form a bond with the child that could be too strong. A bond where she wants nothing more than to be with the baby as if it was her own. Most likely she will alienate herself from the new baby and her friends. It will not be easy for Robin to be around the baby for a long period of time.

Robin has many options when it comes to having a child of her own. She can always adopt or have a surrogate mother. It would be something if Lily actually later on carried a baby for Robin, but that would open up a whole new can of worms. Robin would have to find a good husband first. If Robin keeps hanging around Barney and Ted, that won't happen anytime soon.

The worst thing that could happen now is for Ted and Robin to end up in bed. Since Ted is there to comfort Robin after finding out she couldn't have a child, it is very likely the two may do this. Ted may do it to get back at Barney, but he would only be hurting Robin in the process. Robin would just be sleeping with Ted out of her own self-pity. Hopefully the show will not go in that direction. It would be a great idea to focus a little more on Lily and Marshall's baby, even better to give them twins. Twins would really bring a big shock to the couple and friends. The show continues to bring many surprises, hopefully it will continue for the rest of the season.
