Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb has woken from a coma, according to BBC News.
Gibb was able to communicate with his family members, who were by his bedside at a London hospital, Gibb's spokesman told BBC.

The 62-year-old singer fell into a coma earlier this month after developing pneumonia. Although Gibb has never confirmed it, the BBC report claims the singer is battling colon and liver cancer.
Earlier this year, Gibb was too ill to attend the London premiere of his classical concert "Titanic Requiem."
