Ron and Sam Together Again: Why That Works for 'Jersey Shore'

It looks like fans of "Jersey Shore" will get to enjoy the couple they have come to know so well through the first five seasons of the show. According to reports, Ron and Sam are dating once more. After a relatively peaceful romance during the fifth season, the two announced that they had broken up during the reunion special. However, Sam has confirmed that the two are a couple once more. This should add to the excitement of the upcoming sixth season. After all, you never know what can happen with these two. Here are a few reasons why fans should be happy about the reunion.

Ron and Sam bring potential drama.

Everyone remembers how turbulent their relationship was during the second and third seasons. While everything was calm in the fifth season, the two still broke up after the fact. Whenever these two are together, drama can never be far away. Even Sam admits that she doesn't know what the future will bring for the couple. It might have been interesting to see how they acted as single people, but it's much more comforting to know that "Jersey Shore" will give viewers what they want.

    It's something familiar.

The sixth season is going to be different from past seasons. Two roommates are undergoing major lifestyle changes ahead. Snooki is pregnant, and she isn't going to be the same party girl that fans have come to know. Meanwhile, Mike is recovering from prescription pill addiction, and he is likely to remain sober throughout production. With the changes for those two, people will want to see something familiar. Ron and Sam as a couple should satisfy that urge even if they don't fight at all. With all of the changes going on, this couple will remind people of why the show was so popular in the first place.

    It makes sense.

Considering how well they got along throughout the fifth season, it was a little surprising to learn that the two had split. Assuming they are still together when production begins, it will be like that split never happened. The average person watching "Jersey Shore" can simply assume that their relationship continued without a hitch. Best of all, it will be fun to see if the other roommates acknowledge that their ever was a split. They all toasted to the harmony between the two at the end of the fifth season. It is safe to assume that they will be a little more nervous about living with those two knowing that their relationship still isn't stable.
