It doesn't get much cuter than that! Proud mom Rosie O'Donnell was so excited about baby daughter Dakota's latest phase -- smiling! -- that she had to take to social media to share the news.
"And now the smiling begins," she captioned the adorable photo, a close-up shot of the month-old infant grinning toothlessly at the camera. O'Donnell, 50, and her wife Michelle Rounds welcomed the giggly bundle of joy into the world on Saturday, Jan. 5, at just 5 pounds, 5 ounces.

"Moms and baby are healthy and happy," a rep for the comedienne told Us Weekly at the time.
Dakota is O'Donnell's fifth child. The former talk show host also has kids Parker, Chelsea, Blake and Vivienne with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter.
O'Donnell and Rounds tied the knot in an intimate, simple ceremony last June after getting engaged in December 2011. And expanding their family, sources close to the couple told Us, was always in the plans.
"Michelle is seeing a fertility doctor," the source Us. "She is really excited and they cannot wait to add to their family. Rosie goes to all of her doctors' appointments with her and is really supportive. She isn't pregnant yet but they hope as soon as possible she will be."
Though the pair ended up adopting, Dakota's birth was all the more meaningful because both O'Donnell and Rounds had their share of health scares within the past year. Shortly after their summer last June, Rounds was diagnosed with desmoid tumors, an extremely rare, cancer-like disease. O'Donnell then suffered a heart attack last August.
The health crises have served to bring the family closer, however.
"When we are both well enough, [we] will have the wedding of our dreams surrounded by those we cherish," the former View co-host blogged. "[We are] thankful for the love and support so many have given us during these trying times."
