Scoop: Alana De La Garza Brings Law & Order's Connie to SVU — But With a Twist
That Connie Rubirosa sure gets around.
TVLine has confirmed that Alana De La Garza will reprise her Law & Order: Original Flavor/Law & Order: LA role on NBC’s SVU this season, but with a slight twist.
Because whereas Connie in her previous incarnations was an ADA, when she resurfaces in the SVU world, she is now back in New York as a federal prosecutor, heading up a joint task force on underage sex trafficking.
An airdate/episode number for De La Garza’s appearance — which the actress announced over the weekend on Twitter — was not yet available.
Just got my new script for guest role on @nbcsvu … Gonna be fun!—

In addition to her Law & Order-verse appearances, De La Garza’s TV credits include NBC’s Do No Harm, CSI: Miami, Smallville and All My Children.
