Which Season 14 'Dancing with the Stars' Contestants Have Fans Excited?

The day "Dancing with the Stars" fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. Since Season 13 ended, there have been rumors about who will, and will not, appear on the show. Names like Kris Jenner and Pee Wee Herman were dropped early on, but now all the speculations can be laid to rest. On February 28, the entire cast of Season 14 was announced live on "Good Morning America." It seems this season is filled with a few known actors/personalities, mixed with some lesser known ones. These are a few contestants fans are excited about this season.

    Jaleel White

If you aren't familiar with White, you probably know his alter ego, Steve Urkel. That's right, everyone's favorite geek from the '90s is back and ready to shake his booty on the dance floor. White appeared on "Family Matters," which aired on the TGIF line up on ABC during the '90s. They paired him up with Kym Johnson, giving him a shot at going all the way. We will be waiting to see whether or not he will use his trademark phrase, "Did I do that?"

    Sherri Shepherd

Watch out fans of "The View," you will be hearing a lot about the show for the next several weeks. Shepherd was rumored to be in the running for a place on the show, and now we have complete confirmation. She will probably do fairly well. Her fame is not huge, but with a morning talk show, she can reach out to more people than most. She is paired with Maks' little brother, Val. Hopefully the pair can make it through the first couple of eliminations.

    Donald Driver

Green Bay fans are waiting and ready to vote already. Driver is a member of the Green Bay Packers football team, and is now one of the athletic competitors for Season 14. He is paired with Peta Murgatroyd, and hopefully he can help her sail through week one where she was eliminated during Season 12. Driver will definitely be competition for the other contestants with the fan base his team has garnered.

    Maria Menounos

If you watch "Extra," you will know where Menounos comes from. She is a special correspondent with Mario Lopez on the magazine/gossip type show on NBC. She definitely has the looks to keep the men interested, and one would venture to guess she also has some killer moves. Her partner is Derek Hough, and that makes her chances in this competition pretty good.

You can catch the premiere of Season 14 on Monday, March 19, on ABC.
