Shocking Elimination On 'Dancing With The Stars'!

A shockwave went through the ballroom on "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday when the latest celebrity was eliminated.

(SPOILER - this story contains the results of "Dancing with the Stars.")

Despite dancing a Beyonce-inspired samba to a score of 24 out of 30, and being cheered on by her former fiance, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, during Monday night's competition show, Kristin Cavallari was eliminated from "DWTS" on Tuesday's results show.

"Um, I'm a little surprised to be honest," Kristin said, after learning the news, which left several of the "DWTS" cast members with their mouths agape. "But I've had such a great time and it's been an awesome experience. So, you know, it is what it is."

Kristin's elimination also takes her professional partner, Mark Ballas, out of the competition.

"I was just really proud of Kristin, she had great potential and I thought she killed it last night," Mark said. "I was honored to be her partner."

This isn't the first time Mark has faced a shocking elimination.

Back in 2007, during Season 5 of the show, Mark and his then partner, Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan, who many considered a frontrunner in the competition, were sent home in Week 6, after unusually low scores for the pair, following a foxtrot.

On Tuesday's show, soccer star Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were also placed in the bottom group, but were saved to dance again.

Also carrying on, despite landing at the bottom of the leaderboard for two weeks in a row, was Chaz Bono and pro Lacey Schwimmer.

Chaz learned he was safe early on in the elimination show and quickly hit Twitter to share his gratitude for the outpouring of support from the fans, which has continued to keep the couple in, despite their low scores.

"I wish I could thank each & every one of you personally for your votes. YOU are the reason @LaceySchwimmer & I ARE DANCING AGAIN next week!!" he Tweeted, adding. "This is the most amazing experience. #SAFE #DWTS."

And next week, the experience is set to grow for the contestant. His mother, superstar entertainer Cher, revealed via Twitter on Monday night, she would be in the audience if Chaz made it through to week 4.

"hope Chaz hangs on till next week so I can come sit in the Audience & Watch," she wrote.

"Dancing with the Stars" returns with a theme of "Movie Scores" on Monday at 8/7 on ABC.

Former pro Julianne Hough will be back on set, dancing to promote her feature film, "Footloose."

She also hinted she would perform with brother Derek Hough.

It never was and the "so called" stars who have, and are appearing, are third or fourth list as well. Mostly this year the "stars" are people who know, or are related to someone famous

Well, it's all about the gay lesbo transgender agenda. Ballroom dancing is gay by itself.
      • Mary 7 months ago
No ballroom dancing is not gay .. what an assanine thing to say.. but I do agree that Chaz Bono is the one who should have been eliminated.. he's not 'dancing' .. he's 'walking around the dance floor' ...

So mary but ballroom dancing is incredibly gay.

This is the reason I stopped watching this show two years ago. It has become perverted and full of crap. It is no longer about good dancing.

It's never been about the best dancer! Geash, nothing is happening this season that hasn't happened in the past! Almost every winner has not been the best dancer. There are a few exceptions, but Emmet Smith, Donny Osmond, Julio Castwhatever, just to name a few, were not the best dancers. They were/are good entertainers.

The worst dancers get to stay , and the better ones get voted off . Go figure ....
      • Sassmouthopopolis 7 months ago
The good ones should change their sex. Then they will win.

They want the gay fat troll to win.

This is supposed to be a dancing competition, not a popularity contest.
    • sarah  •  7 months ago
The show is not fair anymore, the worst dancers get through only because they are associate with fame. I stop watching it too. They really need to take it off TV all together and I think they will as people stop looking at it.

I like to watch the talented dancers on this show, but the voting is turning into a popularity contest. For the past 3 seasons (since Bristol Palin) groups of people vote to keep people on the show who should be eliminated, and by doing so eliminate those that should stay. DWTS is going to lose a lot of viewers if they don't change the voting process somehow.

Just end the whole thing now.....what an embarassment. Please....we beg you....

Once again this program has nothing to do with talent. Kristin was awsome and Chaz really sucked, are you kidding? Ended my watching the program forever
    • Lisa R  •  7 months ago
NOT enjoying DWTS this season. People are voting politics over talent.

The last days of an empire. They should hired Nero to play fiddle.
    • LM  •  7 months ago
This was a just so unfair. DWTS years ago was fun to watch, now I am just angry when it's over. I hardly ever watch anymore because of things just like this! Lin Goodman, the judge, wasn't afraid to lambast what happened! The audience gasped and then got really mad! Networks just want ratings!
    • John C  •  7 months ago
Stupid show. Get rid of fan voting.
    • W  •  7 months ago
Why is Chaz Bono still there? Absolutely NO dancing talent. And OMG "author and activist" LOL what a joke!! How bout "only famous because of her parents!! And NOTHING else!
    • Anne  •  7 months ago
R U kidding, your telling us the results before the show even airs. Stupied Jerks!
