Dr. Gregory House's ultimate sex appeal might have Dr. Lisa Cuddy finally swooning after several seasons of constant emotional tug o'war, but something about House makes every woman purr inside.
1. House is the super bad boy.
Despite his leg injury, House's ride of choice is a bad boy motorcycle. House is a bully. He relishes in the pain of others and has no problem with breaking the law, whether regarding drugs, breaking into a patient's home, or questionable massage "therapists". Most of the time viewers know that House doesn't give a crap about the mayhem he causes, but there is a glimmer of redemption in the rough exterior.
2. House plays hard-to-get.
Despite his lifelong romantic dance with Dr. Lisa Cuddy, House is more the noncommittal type, even when seventeen-year-old ER patients throw themselves at his feet. He would rather hire a professional for a romantic romp than deal with the complications involved in a relationship. This season flips the formula on its head, and viewers are seeing the more romantic side of House, although he still screws up by letting Cuddy's daughter swallow a dime. However, viewers watch with bated breath, knowing that House will most likely sabotage the relationship before wedding bells will chime.
3. House is hot.
Sure, maybe the rotten leg turns off some viewers, but in the end, House has that older man, rugged type of hot going for him. He has hooked up with Lisa Cuddy this time around, but viewers know that he has had rendezvous with much hotter women. Watching the shirtless House romp with Cuddy might not be Chippendale's material, but women can appreciate his more mature physique and unkempt appearance.
4. House is sensitive (which makes him sexy).
Despite the rough exterior, inside Dr. Gregory House there beats a heart somewhere. He may be unconventional, but viewers love that about him. He might be bad, but maybe he is inherently good. The wounded animal theories play right into the fantasies of women everywhere. Viewers know that with the right person, the real House might shine through, or maybe not.
5. House is a doctor.
Yep, if the show was "Gregory House, Garbage Maintenance Man", chances are that his sex appeal would go down a few notches. House is a doctor, and with that goes all the perks of being a doctor, including assumed intelligence and the paycheck to boot.
6. House is a musician.
Occasionally House fans get to enjoy some jazzy improvs on the piano or a short riff of the blues as House attempts to figure out his emotions through music. Definitely sexy!
Maybe House can't compare to the pretty boys of Twilight, but in the end, the mature master of medical mayhem has a ruggedness that makes a lady swoon. Cuddy better watch out, because there is a long line of fans waiting like a pack of cougars when she and House finally call it quits.
