Sofia Dupre is one of the newest cast members on "The Young and the Restless." She plays a full-size intelligent and savvy African-American business woman. Now Sofia has been trying to fit in with the Winters family for a while. It could be because they are the only other black cast members on the show, or could it be she does not have the ideal look for the show. But what she does have is confidence and a lot of action to bring to the show. Without a little action and something to talk about the show could quickly become dull and boring. Sofia's character has a lot of potential. She is engaged to Malcolm, who is Neil's half-brother, and she has already got Neil to drop his pants and make love to his brothers fiancée.
Malcolm and Neil have never had the ideal brother relationship, and once Malcolm finds out Sofia slept with Neil, you can believe sparks and punches are going to fly, and it's not going to be a celebration. But can Malcolm really get pissed off with Neil, after all Malcolm did sleep with Neil's wife at the time, Drucilla, and got her pregnant. Lily was the result of that affair. So, Neil really does not have any biological children, but could that little fling with Sofia give him a biological child of his own. After all what goes around comes right back around. One night of passion has been known to cause a lot of problems, and although the Neil and Sofia both agreed they were just there for one another at a difficult time, it appears they both have some unresolved feelings for one another.
It's good to see something fresh and exciting going on with the show. Right now Lily is still going through a difficult and depressing time dealing with Cane's ghost and raising the twins on her own. You have to just wonder what's in store for her and her little baby's. But whatever it is looks like Sophia plans to be right there for Lily. Sophia has her heart set on being a part of the family and from looks of it, she is slowing working her way right in the midst of the family. We will all have to tune in on CBS at 4pm EST to find out the latest on "The Young and the Restless" and Sofia Dupre's drama.
