Sofia Vergara Steps Out Amid Reports Of Split With Boyfriend

Sofia Vergara put on a brave face on Wednesday, stepping out just hours after reports surfaced that the "Modern Family" star had split with boyfriend Nick Loeb after dating for two years.

The 39-year-old bombshell made an appearance at the Einstein College of Medicine's Annual Spirit of Achievement Awards at the Plaza Hotel in New York City on Wednesday, supporting her jeweler friend Lorraine Schwartz - one of the day's honorees.

"She [seemed] in the best mood," an onlooker told People. "Mother's Day is this weekend, and she talked about her son and how proud she is of him and how he's such a nice kid. No matter who came up to her table, she was taking pictures and people were being introduced to her."

The actress also took time to enjoy a sweet treat at the event.

"She was scarfing down Twinkies and popping them in her mouth," another source told the mag. "If there was something fazing her, you couldn't tell at all. She just didn't care. She did every media interview and was chatting with people. You couldn't tell anything was wrong."

Sofia also spoke to Us Weekly, telling the mag, "I'm very happy. I love Lorraine's stuff, so it's wonderful to be here to enjoy this day with her."

A rep for Sofia was not available for comment on reports of her split with Nick when contacted by Access Hollywood on Wednesday.
