Dancing with the Stars: Gladys Knight Goes Home

    Jivin' for their lives!

During Tuesday night's results show, Dancing With the Stars hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke Charvet revealed the two couples with the lowest scores.

Though Jaleel White and his partner Kym Johnson were nearly eliminated during last week's dance duel, the pair rallied Monday night, putting on a performance judge Bruno Tonioli called the "biggest sizzler of the season." America agreed with Tonioli's evaluation, and kept White and Johnson safe from elimination.

Once viewer votes were tallied, duos Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus, and Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower weren't so lucky.

Knight and Fegan faced off in a dramatic dance duel, doing simultaneous jives--each pair hoping to convince the judging panel to let them stay on to dance another week.

All three judges complimented Knight on her cool, calm, and collected approach to the routine.

"You dance like you sing," Len Goodman told the "Midnight Train to Georgia" songstress. "From your heart."

Tonioli agreed with Goodman's assessment, telling Knight she made a "difficult dance look easy."

In the end, though, Fegan's energy and "immaculate" timing won over Goodman and Tonioli. (Carrie Ann Inaba voted to keep Knight and MacManus in the competition.)

"I am so amazed at this journey," the eliminated Knight told Bergeron about her six week stint on the program. "I learned so many things…I'm overjoyed."

The Grammy winner also had some kind parting words for her former competitors.

"They are already stepping up way, way behind anything that's ever been on the show," the legendary R&B singer shared. "I wish 'em Godspeed…I wish 'em the best."

Following Knight's elimination, there are seven contestants left in the running, including Jaleel White, Roshon Fegan, Katherine Jenkins, Maria Menounos, William Levy, Melissa Gilbert and Donald Driver.
