Stacy Keibler isn't all that broken up about her recent breakup from George Clooney. Appearing on Good Morning America on Wednesday, July 17, the Supermarket Superstar host, 33, was as upbeat as ever when asked about how she's feeling since her split from the Gravity star, 52.
"I'm doing great," she said, noting that things are "absolutely" amicable between them. (Indeed, Keibler told Extra one day earlier that "nothing really dramatic" happened. "It's all good," she noted.)
Asked whether the pair clashed over marriage and children, Keibler claimed that she and Clooney "didn't discuss that" during their relationship. "That is the last thing on my mind," she shared. "I'm, I think, a little bit different than most women out there. I don't really think about that right now."
Indeed, sources told Us Weekly that the couple's biggest issue was distance. Prior to their split, they hadn't been "in the same country for a long time," one insider said. "They are both working and haven't seen each other. You can't have a relationship with someone that you don't see."
Added another source: "Stacy and George have been having ongoing discussions in the last few weeks. It wasn't a one-sided decision. No one got dumped. They both discussed it and realized it was better that they split."
Keibler, for her part, has her hands full with work right now anyway. Her new show, Supermarket Superstar, premieres on Lifetime on Monday, July 22, at 10 p.m. ET. "It really gives home cooks the chance to pitch their recipe ideas in the hopes of getting a nationwide launch of their product on supermarket shelves," she told Us during the show's launch event at Smog Shoppe in L.A. on July 15. "One person will get the chance to create a multi-million dollar line."
"When I was growing up, my mom was a great cook and she taught me a lot of things," she added. "I watched The Food Network...[Supermarket Superstar] was sort of a natural fit for me."
