    Star Wars's George Lucas Gets Engaged to Mellody Hobson

    The Force is strong with George Lucas!

    The Star Wars creator is engaged to longtime girlfriend Mellody Hobson, US Weekly reports.

    Hobson, the 43-year-old chairman for DreamWorks Animation, and the famed director, 68, have been dating for seven years. This will be the first marriage for Hobson, though Lucas was formerly wed to Marcia Lucas from 1969 to 1983.

    It's too early to know what Lucas' wedding will look like, but we have a few suggestions. Yoda could totally officiate the ceremony, Chewie could be best man, and the ushers must be Stormtroopers with bowties, right? At the least have the invitation read that the wedding will take place in a galaxy far, far away (Industrial Light & Magic isn't that close to everyone after all). Come on! It's not like we're asking the bride-to-be to show up wearing Princess Leia's gold metal bikini...
