    Stephen Baldwin Helps Epileptic Woman

Stephen Baldwin aided a woman suffering from a seizure last week at New York's Peninsula Hotel, according to the New York Daily News.

The news source reports that the actor, 46, was having a meeting with his publicist Brad Taylor in the hotel's bar when they heard a "loud bang" from across the room, which turned out to be a woman who had fallen on the floor.

"It was pretty violent," Baldwin said of the convulsions that ensued. The woman reportedly was foaming at the mouth.

According to the news source, other patrons ignored the event while Baldwin rushed to her side. The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, is reported to be "a regular at the bar" and has seizures "all the time."

"I held her hand and said a few prayers," said Baldwin, an Evangelical Christian. "I wanted to make sure the young lady was okay and her breathing wasn't restricted."

A few minutes later the woman's shaking subsided and a nurse arrived to revive the woman.

"Stephen Baldwin was a hero to a girl," said Taylor.
