After 27 years of marriage, Stephen Collins and Faye Grant are calling it quits.
"My wife and I are moving forward separately in our lives," 7th Heaven star Collins, 64, tells Us Weekly in a statement. "She has been my dearest friend and a loving mother. I know that we'll go through this process in a way that honors our family."
Married in April 1985, Collins and Grant, 54, are parents to a daughter named Kate. In addition to his role as Reverend Eric Camden on 7th Heaven, Collins' film and TV credits include Private Practice, Brothers & Sisters, The First Wives Club and No Ordinary Family.
Collins isn't the only 7th Heaven star in the news: Barry Watson, who played his eldest son, announced May 3 that he is expecting his first child with partner Natasha Gregson Wagner. He is already a father to sons Oliver, 7, and Felix, 4, with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's Tracy Hutson.
