    'Suits': Who is Donna Paulsen?

Donna (Sarah Rafferty) is the fan-favorite, tenacious character on "Suits." There are quite a few clues about the character that can be gleaned from observing her, but she also describes herself in many instances throughout the show.

    She knows everything (about Harvey)

The Season 2 episode "Rewind" showed that Donna used to know everything that goes on in the office. She's still nosy, but now most of her knowledge involves Harvey (Gabriel Macht).

    She's "awesome"

In the episode "High Noon," Donna simply states that her brain is too busy being "awesome" to bother with being photographic. 'Nough said.

She knows how to stick it to Louis

Donna often gives Louis (Rick Hoffman) a sideways glance or snide remark, and almost always gets the better of him. Most of the time, he doesn't even know what hit him.

    She's weird

In the episode "Rewind," Donna said to Rachel (Meghan Markle), "You're weird. We'll be friends." Rejoice, weird people! It's fun to be weird!

She loves Harvey ("like a brother or a cousin")

Donna made her true feelings clear in the episode "Asterisk." She does love Harvey, but not like that.

She's the master of her domain

Donna has proven over the course of the show that not even Harvey can worm his way in to Donna's domain. Although, most of her domain includes Harvey.

    She's stubborn

Even when Donna knew she was wrong to shred files, not tell Harvey what she had done, then lie about it, she still refused to apologize. Even after she was fired and rehired, she never told Harvey she was sorry. Of course, it turned out that she never made the first mistake leading to all her subsequent mistakes because she was set up by Hardman (David Costabile), so maybe deep down, she knew she was right all along. She is awesome after all.

    She's feisty

    See above.

She'll protect herself at all costs, with her friends taking a close second

This one goes along with the "She's stubborn" section. She claimed that she shredded documents and lied to Harvey to protect him, but she's too smart to really believe that. She knew she was protecting herself above all. She's loyal to Harvey, and will do almost anything for him, but not when it interferes with protecting herself first.

    She's sarcastic

Sometimes Donna's version of sarcasm consists of a simple glance or cocked head. She bleeds sarcasm. It is her greatest skill, and the thing that makes her a fan favorite, generating side splitting laughs in the viewers.

See more Donna when "Suits" returns for its Winter season in January, 2013 on USA Network.
