Dallas (Wednesdays, 9/8c, TNT)
You may not be able to go home again, but you can certainly go back to Southfork. From the first notes of the famous theme song, I was hooked once more. TNT's new Dallas is as deliciously sensational as the original — it's nostalgia wrapped in a Texas-sized package of backstabbing, double-crossing delights. Dastardly J.R. is still snapping off one-liners with glee, do-gooder Bobby is desperately trying to honor Miss Ellie's legacy, and Sue Ellen — always my favorite character — has both money and power and knows how to use them. Meanwhile, the next generation is providing plenty of eye candy and proving that they still have a lot to learn from their dear old dads. Let the best schemer win! — Debra Birnbaum, Editor-in-Chief
Shake It Up (Sundays, 8:30/7:30c, Disney Channel)
When a fortysomething man declares his love for a show about two teenage girls, he's got some 'splainin' to do. So here goes: Lucy and Ethel. Laverne and Shirley. CeCe and Rocky? No kidding — Shake It Up's Bella Thorne and Zendaya follow in the footsteps of classic female comedy teams as a pair of Chicago girls trying to make all their dreams come true on a local dance show in this charmingly old-school sitcom. It's no surprise, then, that the show comes from veteran prime-time producers like Chris Thompson (Bosom Buddies) and Jeff Strauss (Friends). No matter what the situation, CeCe and Rocky have all the right moves, comedically speaking. — Bruce Fretts, Articles Editor
Watch What Happens Live (Sunday-Thursday, 11/10c, Bravo)
I'm of the mind that you haven't lived until you've seen Martha Stewart throw back a shot off a wooden ski. That's what you can expect when you tune in to Watch What Happens Live, easily the most fun half hour you'll find on late-night television. On any given evening in the Bravo clubhouse, you can see MSNBC's Willie Geist grilling Lil' Kim over her feud with Nicki Minaj, Kathleen Turner and Jennifer Tilly bonding over their mutual hatred of Fifty Shades of Grey, or respected anchorman Dan Rather naming the best-smelling world leader (answer: Muammar Gaddafi). Host Andy Cohen serves up an atmosphere that's as laid-back as your local watering hole, which is probably why his famous guests tend to get a little too comfortable with their responses during Cohen's regular confession game, "Plead the Fifth." In a world where canned answers are pretty much the norm when making the talk-show rounds, that's quite an intoxicating change. — Scott Sode, Associate Editor
