Summer is here. What's going on with some of our favorite characters on "Grey's Anatomy"?
Patrick Dempsey
Well, if you are a "Grey's" fan,and a Patrick Dempsey fan, then you already know what Dempsey is doing this summer: He is in one of the biggest hit moviesof thesummer, "Transformers:Dark of the Moon." And according to Popeater.com, he is spending a lot of time this summer driving his kids around, which is less glamorous but possibly just as dangerous!
Ellen Pompeo
Meredith Grey, played by Pompeo, had a tough season - especially towards the end with her new adopted baby, the hospital finding out she messed with an Alzheimer's trial and her husband (played by Patrick Dempsey) so angry with her that he walked out. It seems, however, Pompeo is getting some needed rejuvenation and has been seen strolling leisurely in New York City with her hubby and their daughter Stella who is not quite two yet.
Pompeo has also been having some Hollywood-style fun, and was seen at a Vanity Fair dinner looking refreshed and fantastic.
Sandra Oh
What does a perfectionist do over the summer? Well, if her character Cristina Yang had anything to do with it, she'd be busy every minute. Oh, who is originally from Canada, found out this summer that she is one the inductee's to "Canada's Walk of Fame." Inductee's receive a star on the "Walk of Fame" as well as a tribute at a special ceremony in October of 2011. Oh intends on attending this televised production.
Justin Chambers
Justin Chambers plays Dr. Alex Carev on "Grey's Anatomy." Carev is a sour-puss with a constant monkey on his back who has had a lot of bad luck with love. In "real" life, Chambers is happily married to his wife Keisha, (and they have five children), and they recently attended a Tommy Hilfiger summer party in Los Angeles.
Chandra Wilson
Wilson plays one of my favorite characters, Dr. Miranda Bailey, because she is strong and tough and a great doctor, but then she is also feminine and sensitive and has moments of insecurity which makes her so real. Wilson recently went to Disney World in Orlando in June for a summer break with family and friends. Her trip overlapped, apparently, with Audra McDonald's trip. McDonald stars on the hit spin off "Private Practice."
