What's going on with some of our favorite characters on "Grey's Anatomy"? See below for the second installment of what the cast of "Grey's" does in the summer.
Sara Ramirez
Playing Dr. Torres is quite a roll: She is a doc at a major hospital with a lesbian wife and a baby shared with the lesbian wife and a one time male lover, who is also a doc at the same hospital. Intriguing stuff. So what is Ramirez doing this summer? According to People, the beautiful Ramirez became enganged while in Paris, France in June to her long-term boyfriend, Ryan Debolt. Congratulations to Ramirez! What a great summer vacation she must be having!
Jessica Capshaw
Speaking of busy lesbian doctors who have a baby on "Grey's," Capshaw's charater Arizona Robbins was also quite busy this past season. So far, Capshaw has spent some time in Italy this summer with her family. Joining her in this fabulous European destination were her husband and two children, Luke age 3 and Eve, 8 months. Also joining them? According to greysgabble her famous mom, Kate Capshaw and famous step-dad, Steven Spielberg. Now that's a talented summer vacation!
Eric Dane
Let's keep the theme going: Dane plays Dr. Mark Sloan who fathers the baby that he, Dr. Torres and Dr. Robbins share. Dane, who in "real life," is married to actress Rebeccca Gayheart found out this summer that they are pregnant with child number 2. The couple already has a daughter who is 16 months old.
Chyler Leigh
Being the younger "Grey" on "Grey's Anatomy" has been tough for Leigh's character Lexie Grey, however, she fit right in at Seattle Grace making her mark as a sensitive doc and a love interest for more than one of the male docs. There is gossip this summer that Ellen Pompeo, who plays the elder and seemingly more popular Grey sister might be leaving, and Leigh's character would have to step in and be the "main" Grey on the show. My guess is Leigh is doing a lot of nail biting this summer.
