Super Slim Jennie Garth Talks "Adult Adolescence" Post-Split

It's been less than five months since Peter Facnielli filed for divorce from Jennie Garth, his wife of 11 years -- and the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress is looking shockingly slimmer.

During a media tour in New York City August 7, Garth, 40, stopped by Fox & Friends to discuss her new life as a single woman. (Her ex-husband, 38, filed for divorce in March; he requested joint legal and physical custody of their three daughters, Luca, 15, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5.)

"I always said I would rather lick a dirty floor than go back to dating," Garth said. (Ironically, when the interview began, the actress raved about -- and chugged -- coconut water, which she said tastes like "dirty water.")

"[Dating] is very new for me," Garth continued. "I have training wheels on right now, because I was married [for so long]. That's my whole adult life, basically. I think I'm actually going back into adult adolescence. I'm having a moment."

Garth -- who has since romanced HGTV's Antonio Ballatore -- said that she's "met a few people of the opposite sex" but is finding it difficult to date again, given her lengthy career in the spotlight. "They come into it knowing who I am or my history," she opined. "I know nothing about them, so I have a weird disadvantage."

When Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson, 46, suggested Garth read Sherry Argov's 2002 self-help guide, Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl -- A Woman's Guide to Holding Her Own in a Relationship, the actress lit up. "I react emotionally to everything!" Garth said. "I will buy it right now."

Before the interview ended, Carlson looked Garth in the eye and said, "You are glowing."
