Reality TV stars are a dime a dozen, so it's not surprising that the ones that stick in the minds of viewers often have some distinguishing characteristics. And more often than not, the most memorable stars have some serious ink. From dating shows to competition series, these tattooed men and women positively sizzle on the small screen.
Jeffrey Sebelia, "Project Runway"
This opinionated, sometimes mean "Project Runway" contestant went on to win Season 3. This former musician designed for major stars such as Madonna and Gwen Stefani before going on TV, and is perhaps best known for his large neck tattoo. It reads "Harrison Detroit l'amore della mia vita," meaning that his son (Harrison) is the love of his life. For TV fans who are a sucker for a bad boy, Jeff Sebelia was serious eye candy (and seriously entertaining every time he would butt heads with Angela).
Tommy Stevens, "Hell's Kitchen"
One of the standout chefs of Season 9 of "Hell's Kitchen" was Tommy Stevens, who looked like a more tattooed version of Jake Gyllenhaal with all the attitude of a New York punk circa 1977. In addition to a forehead tattoo along his hairline that reads "Rock and Roll," Tommy also sported some serious ink along his neck and both forearms. He didn't end up making it to the final two, but his tattooed look was definitely a winning one.
Kat von D, "LA Ink"
No discussion of attractive, tattooed reality TV stars is complete without a mention of the stunning Kat von D. She got her first ink at 14, and dropped out of school at 16 to become a tattoo artist. Today, she has her own line of fragrances and makeup, and holds the Guinness record for the most tattoos given in a 24-hour period. You can take a closer look at some of her tattoos and the meaning behind them in this Yahoo! article, including the stars around her eyes and her tattoo tribute to Beethoven.
Tila Tequila, "A Shot at Love"
With tattoos on her shoulders, wrist, and back, Tila Tequila is one of the most tattooed reality TV stars to ever be the object of desire on a dating show. Love her or hate her, one has to admit that she's very beautiful.
Dave Navarro, "Ink Master"
Dave might be best known as the guitarist for Jane's Addiction, but he also hosted "Ink Master," a reality competition series on Spike TV. His own ink includes several tributes to his mother (including a photo tribute to her done by Kat von D).
