It's a star-studded weekend at the theaters.
In the comedy Identity Thief, Jason Bateman plays Sandy Bigelow Patterson, a mild-mannered man from Denver who realizes that his identity has been stolen by Melissa McCarthy's sneaky character.
Meanwhile, Steven Soderbergh's thriller Side Effects shows Emily Taylor, played by Rooney Mara, and husband Martin (Channing Tatum) as a successful New York couple. However, when Emily starts taking a new drug prescription to treat her anxiety, the pills cause unexpected side effects and take a toll on their relationship. The film also stars Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
