    Dream Team: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Host 2013 Golden Globe Awards on NBC

    And the winner is… the viewers!

    In what can only be described as a genius move, NBC has tapped company gals Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to host the 2013 Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 13, the Peacock network announced late Monday.

    Having 30 Rock‘s Fey and Parks and Rec‘s Poehler “on board to host this year’s festivities is a major coup,” said NBC’s president of alternative programming, Paul Telegdy. “Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama.”

    Added Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Aida Takla-O’Reilly: “The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune-in to see them in action. The HFPA is thrilled to have the magnetic duo be a part of the show’s 70th anniversary!”
