    TNT Renews Southland for Fifth Season

    TNT has renewed Southland for a 10-episode fifth season, the network announced on Friday.

    "Season after season, critics and fans alike have championed TNT's Southland as one of television's best dramas.This year, the show has not only solidified its impassioned fan base, but also picked up some new young-adult devotees along the way," TNT President Michael Wright said.

    Fall 2012 TV Scorecard: Which Shows Are Returning? Which Aren't?

    The drama, which recently wrapped its fourth season, stars Michael Cudlitz, Shawn Hatosy, Regina King and Ben McKenzie as members of the Los Angeles police force. It is unknown if Lucy Liu, who joined in Season 4, will return as she has a pilot, Elementary, at CBS.

    Season 5 slated to debut in February 2013.
