The series, which stars "Will & Grace" alum Eric McCormack as an eccentric neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases, has averaged 7 million total viewers since its July 9 premiere, with 1.8 million of them landing in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. The premiere ranked third among cable series premieres this year, behind "Major Crimes" and "Dallas," also on TNT.

"Perception," which also stars Rachael Leigh Cook, airs Mondays at 10 p.m.
