The second leg traveling as part of the VIP digital press corps for "Oprah's Lifeclass: the Tour" brought us to New York City. In the afternoon Oprah taped an episode with inspirational teacher and author Deepak Chopra. One of their guests that day was newly awakened celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. That night Oprah did a live show with motivational speaker and life coach Tony Robbins. During the course of the day we got a chance to interview all three of Oprah's guests. Chopra says that getting rid of crazy thoughts is simplified in the acronym STOP. "S stands for Stop. T stands for Take three deep breaths and when you're doing that smile everywhere in your body. O stands for Observing what's happening in your body. P stands for Proceed now with kindness and understanding."
Perez Hilton on Having an Open Heart and Mind.
"[It's] important... not just to have openness of heart, but also to have openness of thought. Because when you get really rigid, you close yourself off to experience and growth."
Deepak Chopra on Teaching Spiritual Awareness to Children.
"Your children will never listen to what you say, but they will mirror your nuances. Especially when they are in the first three years of life; that's when you influence them. If you want to influence your children, you have to be the example."
