'Top Shot' Season 3: A Look at the Final Four

There is just one episode left in Season 3 of "Top Shot," and fans are anxious to see which of the final four remaining contestants will win. Each fan has their favorite that they would like to see win, but no one knows who will come out on top. Here, we will explore why these four men may or may not have what it takes to win "Top Shot."

    Dustin Ellermann

At the beginning of the season, Dustin seemed to be the underdog. He has no formal training, which led the other contestants and fans to doubt him. However, challenge after challenge, Dustin proved himself to be a real contender. Given his natural shooting ability and his proven ability to dominate in challenges, many believe Dustin is the one to beat. At this point it seems that only Dustin himself stands between him and the title of "Top Shot."

    Mike Hughes

Mike is a special case. He was already sent home once after losing in an elimination challenge to Gary. He was brought back after contestant Jake Zweig quit, and he won the right to stay by sending Phil Morden home. Mike faced yet another elimination challenge on the very next episode. He again proved himself worthy by sending Alex Charvat home. Mike does have a fair chance of winning this season if the final competitions involve pistol shooting. If not, it's going to be an uphill battle for him.

    Gary Quesenberry

Gary has been a fan favorite all season, but it has to be because of his personality because he hasn't really stood out in any of the challenges. Not that he's a bad shot because he isn't, it's just that he hasn't really excelled at any one thing. In a recent episode, Gary hit one of 20 targets in an individual challenge, but managed to escape the elimination round. If Gary hopes to win "Top Shot," he's really going to have to step us his game.

    Chris Collins

Most fans tend to forget about Chris, not because he's done badly this season, but because he hasn't really had a break-out moment. Despite that, his fans know he is a real threat to the others. He's done quite well in most of the challenges, even winning one or two along the way. Chris could definitely claim the big win this season, but he's going to have his work cut out for him if he's going to beat Dustin.

No matter which of these gentlemen earns the title of "Top Shot" and the grand prize of $100,000, it will be well deserved. They have all proven that they have the ability to master almost any weapon while showcasing good sportsmanship.
