Tragedy for Ana Paula in ‘La Que No Podía Amar’

Ana Paula is experiencing tragedy again in "La Que No Podía Amar." Although she survives being bitten by a venomous snake, she loses her baby. It is a sad twist of fate since she previously confessed that Gustavo was the father, and Rogelio finally seemed to accept this.

    Cynthia's Plan

Ana Paula is the victim of Cynthia's plan for revenge. Her love for Gustavo leads her to believe that the only way they can be together is without Ana Paula in the picture. The chemistry between Gustavo and Ana Paula is easy to notice, so it is not surprising to see Cynthia take drastic action to destroy her rival.

    Who Wanted the Tragedy?

Although "La Que No Podía Amar" makes it clear that Cynthia is pleased with the results of her plans, she is not the only person who wants to see Ana Paula destroyed. Cynthia's accomplice Efrain has always helped her. In addition, Vanesa, Ana Paula's half-sister, is thrilled to see her sibling in pain. Vanesa has always wanted to destroy her, so she can reclaim Rogelio. Despite being forced to donate blood to save Ana Paula, she later explains she still hates her.

    Ana Paula's Aunt

There is another member of Ana Paula's family who seems happy about her losing the baby. Ana Paula's aunt, Rosaura, was extremely angry about her pregnancy because it jeopardized the comfortable lifestyle she had with Rogelio. Rosaura even tried to encourage Ana Paula to get an abortion, so she could save her marriage. Rosaura's main concern is having access to Rogelio's wealth and not her niece's health or happiness. She has continued to be a selfish and vain member of the family.

    Ana Paula's Reaction

Ana Paula is devastated by the news that she has lost her baby. After weeks of fear and uncertainty, she has told Rogelio the truth about the child's father. Although his immediate reaction was anger and lashing out at Gustavo, he has slowly grown to accept the pregnancy.

    A Convenient Plot Twist

"La Que No Podía Amar" has used a conventional plot twist to get rid of Ana Paula's pregnancy. It eliminates some of the problems associated with custody and parental rights. However, this direction also removes the possibility of an original way to handle the scandal. Instead of showing the reality of many modern families, the show has simply removed an obstacle to the love between Ana Paula and Rogelio.
