NBC's Revolution is off to a good start. Following a boosted episode of The Voice -- up 10 percent from last Monday with a 4.6 rating among adults 18-49 -- the 10 p.m. premiere of the new J.J. Abrams-produced drama scored a 4.1 adults rating according to fast affiliate numbers. That's three tenths of a point higher than the Voice-boosted debut of Smash and ranks as the best network drama premiere in three years (excluding special previews) and NBC's best drama debut since Bionic Woman. The network notched an easy victory for the night, with a 4.4 rating among adults 18-49 and 12.8 million viewers.

Bones, back on Mondays, was short of 2011's Thursday premiere but up from its lower-rated spring average. The eighth season of the Fox procedural pulled a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49, up 21 percent from the last finale and 10 percent north of its spring average. The Mob Doctor, Fox's first premiere of the new season, did not fare as well. The 9 p.m. debut brought in a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49. Fox placed second for the night, averaging a 1.9 adults rating and 6.5 million viewers.
NFL preemptions in some markets skew ABC's score for the night, a 1.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 6.2 million viewers, which have it matching last year's score for its special broadcast of the CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock.

Univision had a 1.6 adults rating for the night, while encores of How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls and Hawaii Five-0 earned CBS a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers.
The CW aired back-to-back episodes of The L.A. Complex, which pulled a 0.4 and 0.2 adults ratings, respectively. The network averaged a 0.3 rating in the demo and 672,000 viewers for the night.
