    • Showtime has just released its first teaser trailer for Dexter‘s seventh season, and it’s as vague as it is creepy. “Maybe everything is exactly as it should be,” muses the serial killer via voiceover. What does he mean?! Guess we’ll find out Sept. 30 when the drama returns.

Producer Michael Brandman tells Variety that the Eye Network has informed him that they will not be ordering any more of the Tom Selleck-starring flicks. It’s unknown whether the franchise will be shopped around elsewhere.

    • Cougar Town has found its new showrunner. Gary Unmarried and 8 Simple Rules vet Ric Swartzlander will helm the comedy’s upcoming fourth season (which will air on TBS), taking over the reins from co-creators Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel.
