TVLine Items: Mick Jagger to Host/Perform on SNL Finale, Law & Order Alum Is Single and More!

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger will pull double duty on Saturday Night Live‘s May 19 season finale, serving as both host and the musical guest.

This will mark the rock icon’s first time as host and third time as performer.

In other SNL news, showrunner Lorne Michaels told reporters Wednesday that he, too, is in the dark about the rumored departures of vets Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg. “I know there will be some [exits],” he said. “But it’s just sort of the nature of the way we work; that no one really talks about it until the season is done.” That said, Michaels added he would “like everyone to stay.”

The EP also said that a rumored Mitt Romney appearance has been shelved for now due to the probable presidential candidate’s busy schedule.
