Per Deadline, the actress will debut in the Feb. 21 episode as Shaw, a fearless, sexy and witty operative in a secret paramilitary organization that tracks and eliminates terrorists.
As if that’s not enticing enough, executive producer Jonathan Nolan says, “If James Bond and Sarah Connor had a kid, Shaw would kick its ass.”

• Talk about kismet: The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles star Anthony Michael Hall has joined MTV’s Awkward, which creator Lauren Iungerich has said was inspired by the films of John Hughes. Per EW.com, Hall will appear in a multiple episodes as “a sadistic creative writing teacher that pushes the students out of their comfort zones,” though there’s a method to his madness. Additionally, Nolan Funk (Glee) will appear as a confident new prep school transfer to Palos Hills.
• Burgess Jenkins (Nashville) and Joshua Henry (Broadway’s The Scottsboro Boys) will recur on the upcoming seventh season of Lifetime’s Army Wives as the husbands of new cast members Torrey DeVitto and Ashanti, respectively, per Deadline.
