    • Syfy has renewed Face Off for a fifth season, slated to bow this summer. Season 4 of the addictive, special effects-centric competition series currently airs Tuesdays on the cabler.

    • Sarah Hyland has joined Lifetime/History’s upcoming Bonnie & Clyde miniseries. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the Modern Family starlet will play sister-in-law to Emile Hirsch’s titular Clyde. The project also stars Holly Hunter, William Hurt, Holliday Grainger and Lane Garrison.

    • Some interesting notes from the Sunday cable ratings, per our pals at TVBTN: History’s The Bible (ticking up to 10.87 million total viewers and a 2.8 rating) just barely outdrew The Walking Dead (dipping slightly to 10.84 mil/5.5); History’s Vikings (4.8 mil/1.5) also was up week-to-week. Lifetime’s Client List (2.1 mil/1.0) ticked up, while Army Wives (2.3 mil/0.7) dipped.

    • Christopher Guest fans, rejoice! HBO has unveiled a first look at the prolific producer/director/writer/etc.’s new comedy series Family Tree, which premieres this spring.
