Though Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes were once well-photographed friends (Victoria was one of the few celeb guests invited to Katie's wedding to Tom Cruise in 2006), their friendship is set to get a little more interesting when New York Fashion Week rolls out -- the two are both scheduled to show their Spring/Summer 2013 fashion collection on September 9.
While Katie's line Holmes & Yang is making its first fashion presentation this year, and is bound to get a ton of attention following her recent divorce to Tom Cruise, Victoria's collection is also one to watch given her line has actually been legitimately embraced by celebrities and the fashion world alike.
And it doesn't hurt that her husband David Beckham is known to steal the spotlight with his front-row seat.

The battle for coverage gets even more interesting given that Katie and Victoria's friendship reportedly fizzled out even before the big divorce.
"Katie is definitely hoping to upstage Victoria," an insider tells The Daily Mail.
