Video: 'NCIS' Star Sean Murray Thanks Fans for 200 Episodes

You don't stay on the air for 200 episodes without the support of dedicated fans, and that hasn't been lost on the cast and crew of "NCIS." As part of "NCIS" Week on Yahoo! TV, they insisted on creating a personal thank-you message to their millions of fans, and they picked Sean Murray (aka Timothy McGee) to deliver it.

    Take it away, Sean:

How come Sean Murray's picture isn't in the group photo?

He is in the photo. He's sitting at the table between Ducky & Jimmy.

finally some Sean Murray. But what's up with his voice not only does he look sick but he sounds sick. If so Sean, know that we the fans are praying for you whatever is going on.

To me, he's way too thin now. And not in a good way--looks sickly.

I noticed this change in him as well! When I saw him the last time - before the show was on hiatus for the season, Sean looked like he had already lost some weight, which I thought was his intention as he was maybe about 10 lbs. too heavy. When the new season began, I was shocked at how sickly thin he looked, which made me wonder if he was ill. He lost way too much weight for it to have been intentional. His hair looked thinner as well - not a good sign either. I do wish him well, as it appears that - due to the lack of Sean in most of the photos - he will not be returning in the next season. He played his character very well, as all the other cast members do! I think the diversity of the characters on the show and how well they all interact with one another is what makes NCIS the hit show it is. In addition, the episodes are well-written and have an interesting story-line! NCIS Los Angeles, on the other hand is a show that I just cannot muster up enough interest to watch, unless I need something to put me to sleep!! I have a hard time understanding how the original NCIS could be such a great, interesting show vs. the NCIS LA spinoff - need I say more?! Maybe it's just me, but the 2 NCIS shows don't seem to have the same writer, producer, etc. - the only similarity is the fact that they both deal with the Navy!

There's been a lot of discourse about his weight loss; initially it was believable that he'd dropped the weight deliberately. However now his face looks gaunt and his voice has weakened and become raspy. That's not planned weightloss; that's illness. I hope it's just side effects of some treatment and he'll be back to a decent weight soon.

I have seen articles on Yahoo about every actor on NCIS accept Sean Murray. He has got to be the most ignored actor on the show. WHY!

I agree, but for now take a break to get better if thats the case

Great T.V. series. Well, to tell you the truth. It was Mrak Harmon that made me start watching this progarm back then. I liked him in other series he was in. This guy can act. Certainly in T.V. and movies.
It seems that everybody fits so well together. Even all the replacements. It seems who ever decides to leave, the one they bring in...fits like a glove.
I hope to be watching this series for another 100 episodes if not more.

Tim is one of my favorite characters, not only smart but very brave as well. Hey Sean, if you stop losing weight, I will watch you and Gibbs until the 500th episode. I'm hoping that you are okay..others are starting a rumor that you are sick, say it isn't so Timmy!!!

I love Tim McGee and Sean Murray. Why isn't he in the group shot?! Where is Ducky?
      • Elaine 3 months ago
Sean Murray IS Tim McGee, the character in NCIS. McGee and Ducky were only shown in ONE photo with the entire group, from the ones I saw.
