'The Walking Dead' Star Arrested for DUI

Forget "The Walking Dead" -- the Driving Bombed might be the bigger danger.

"Walking Dead" actor Scott Wilson, who plays alcoholic farmer Hershel Greene on AMC's hit zombie drama, is facing DUI charges after being arrested last week, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Wilson, 70, was pulled over at 2 a.m. on Aug. 18 by Peachtree City, Ga., police after they observed his black PT Cruiser traveling at about 70 miles per hour -- "well above the posted speed limit" for the area, according to officials. Police also noted that his car "swerved back and forth" several times.

Upon being pulled over, Wilson -- whose acting credits also include "The Great Gatsby" and "In Cold Blood" -- admitted that he'd had scotch and wine at Founders Restaurant & Bar in nearby Senoia. Wilson was administered field sobriety tests, which he failed. The actor complained to police that the roadway was too "slanted" and offered to perform "yoga moves" in lieu of the traditional tests, according to the paper.

A breathalyzer test administered at the scene put Wilson's blood alcohol concentration at 0.143, well above the legal limit of .08, while tests at the Fayette County, Ga. jail where Wilson was booked registered a 0.151 and 0.155, the paper said. Police were initially alerted to Wilson by an anonymous tipster who reported a possibly impaired driver.
