One of the funniest shows on NBC.
August 29, 2007News Radio was one of the funniest shows on NBC. The writing was great and the chemistry on the set was perfect. (As perfect as you can get with Andy Dick around.) For years the show remained fresh and quirky, with a lot of attention paid to character development. News Radio had a large ensemble cast that was hard to manage, but this show pulled it off. Everyone played nice together and it showed on screen. The chemistry between Dave Foley and Stephen Root was worth the entire show. And then to have Phil Hartman was the icing on the cake. I really miss this show and am grateful for the DVDs and to TBS for keeping News Radio on the air in syndication. Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -

one of the best shows ever
January 3, 2007the cast, the writing, the timing, all mix perfectly in this short lived sitcom. Phil Hartman was at his best, as it also seemed he was most like himself. Andy dick was actually funny playing the classic sitcom "idiot". Stephen Root...genius, perfect delivery. Dave Foley, highly underrated comedian, from also one of the best shows ever Kids In the Hall. Its just too bad there weren't more episodes. When Phil Hartman passed, sadly so did the show. Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate
