In the wake of the Columbine massacre, a Tulsa, Oklahoma school district implements repressive new rules to target potentially violent students. In the process, a high school Native American girl becomes the target of a modern-day witch hunt. Her family reluctantly decides she has been wrongfully treated and sues the school for infringing her civil rights.
