    We love our son.

    October 22, 2011
We watch your show and love it. You are the best people, you care, make people very happy. All in All you make some people's dreams come true.
Our son Dennis Jr. has wanted an old 4x4 truck for some time. So when he was 16 years old and in High School we helped purchase an 1970 Ford 4x4 F100 for him. This truck was rusted out all over the place. Some spots were real bad, but Dennis and Dennis Jr. fixed what they could. Dennis Jr. has over the years with some help from his dad and others advice got the truck running, Dennis Jr. bought a 10 foot 1949 flat bed and cut/welded to a 6 foot bed. Dennis Jr. made side boards and a back that opens and shuts. He has replaced a 6 cycle motor to a 351 Windsor. He has cut/welded a roll bar and welded it on the truck. Then he made a push bumper and welded that on his truck too. He has installed KC Lights and fog lights too. Dennis Jr. changed the bench seat inside to bucket seats. He has spray painted this truck. This truck has John Derr colors and he has cammoed painted it too. This all has been done over years and for years it has broke down time after time.

Dennis Jr. is a voleenteer fire fighter for our local fire department. He has a job, but now he is 21 years old, married and has a new little son, his first child, Dennis III.

We (parents) have been planning to move out of California to Georgia for awhile, so we said we had to help Dennis Jr. get an economical car, so he could get back and forth to work. We found one, it was a 1994 VW Jetta. Dennis Jr. has been back and forth to DMV and to the smog garage for several months. Lots of money was spent between DMV and the smog garage it get this car in his name.

Since we moved, we got a phone call from Dennis Jr. telling us the cops just confacated the Jetta, becaused it has been reported stolen. Dennis Jr. didn't go to jail for this, because he showed officers paper work from DMV, Smog and Geico car insurance. So now Dennis Jr. is with out a car and in need of a car for work. Well a neighbor that we all have known for many years sold Dennis Jr. a 1974 Chevy Nova. But it is old too. Dennis Jr. really needs his truck, so now his truck has been pushed to the side in the back yard. We really hated hearing that. We understand that family it very important to him, but that truck is important to him. Dennis Jr. says he will some day get back to his truck. But we would like to see him share this old truck with his son, Dennis III.

For one day this old truck will be given to his son, Dennis Jr. said to us.

We hope you can find it in your hearts to help us all out and make a dream come true. We thank you very much.

    Dennis and Bonnie Schebler

    Dump the 87 chevy pick-up!!!!!!

    May 11, 2011
Man do my husband and I love your show! We watch it all of the time. My husband has a 1987 chevy pick-up 3/4 ton with a dump bed. His long time friend from the Army gave it to him. He cherishes that truck. I would just love it it if you all would overhaul it for him. He has been out of work since September and we cannot afford to re-do the truck. His favorite football team is the NY Giants and I think it would be sooooo cool if you could make the cab of the truck look like a football helmet. I can vision it in my head but it is hard to put on paper. He would love it as i think he is going through a mid-life crisis. I you could find it in your heart to choose our project we would be forever greatful. He hasn't seen his Army friend in a long time and it would be awsome to drive it up to see him, although his friend is an Eagles fan, I am sure he would like it anyway. God Bless, Kathy

    Overhaulin in Motown

    April 29, 2011
I have owned a 1971 Chevelle for forty years, have had it semi-restored in the past and even did some car shows. During these years I vowed to give it to my grandson when he was able to drive, now that time has come, and during the course of this time, I have lost my job, and am unable to fix the car in the way which I wanted, due to the loss of income. It has been stored in the barn for the past eight years, and even though the body and interior are still in good shape, the engine needs to be overhauled, as it blows out a lot of smoke. It would be wonderful if you were still overhaulin, to make my dreams for my grandson come true, as it is all he has wanted for years. Just the same it has been great, to watch your show over the years, and I wish you could come to the Detroit area, to make my grandson, one happy child. I sincerely, wish to thank you for listening to my plea, and wish for your continued success in the years to come. Papa Dell
