have you Evered wondered what life in prison would be like? well oz gives you a pretty good idea, I can tell one thing from watching this show I never,ever want to go to prison.every one that I have shown this show too gets hooked big time.this drama about life in a Men's prison keeps it real to the max, the show is very well written and the acting is incredible, the story lines keep you on the edged of your seats and wanting more like a drug addict. this show never got the credit it deserved mainly because sopranos stole all the attention, but I always thought this show was better. near the end they came up with some really weird story lines that I thought were silly and I wasn't to thrilled with how they ended the show, I really wish they would have shown what happened to the main characters that were left in the show(like Beecher) but over all the good more than out weighed the bad. I promise you if you watch just one episode you will be hooked and your going to have end up buying or renting all 6 seasons(like me,I just had too!!!) oz was a very original and creative show that could have only worked on HBO, it's a shame the show was on at the same time as sopranos, because if it wasn't I think people would have paid more attention to it and they would have seen what a masterpiece it was.
one more thing is it just me or has any else one noticed that almost every one on law&order is from oz? seeing Chris as a cop and married is still takes some getting used too, I'm always expecting Beecher to walk through the door and let everyone know that he's a long lost love from Chris's dark past, now that would be one episode that I couldn't miss.
