Painkiller Jane TV Show - Painkiller Jane Television Show - Yahoo! TV

I set this show on my DVR and removed it twice before I had finally had enough. I actually accused my male friend of sneaking into my home and resetting the timer so he could look at Loken.
This is garbage. So - now that it is no longer acceptable to victimize- I mean, profile- religious or ethnic minorities this show creates a new class of people to drag off the streets. Didn't the X-Men teach us to be more acceptable or the consequences will lead to Armageddon?
Bring back Special Unit 2 - at least the Links were allowed some dignities.

Terrible story. Unbelievable premise. I found an old sci-fi story I wrote in High School the other day and grimaced at how awful it was. It had the same problems as this show. Those problems came from an amateur writer, so when do the pros start writing for this show?

the fact is, looks can only get you so far. the acting was subpar by all the characters. the dialog consisted mostly of chewed up and regurgitated one-liners. with that kind of dialog, its no wonder that there wasn't any character development or any charisma between them.

the plot showed promise but definitely did not deliver and i dont see the lore of the show growing or getting too in-depth in the future beyond the already, "find the neuros, track them or kill them."

the art direction of the show did not seem to fit either. it appeared to be a bit overstylized for its own production budget. the director and producers tried too hard to make the show seem futuristic with a "grainy, raw, edgy" environment. theres nothing in the show that reveals that the story takes place 10, 15, 100 years in the future. if this was meant to be set in the present time, the audience cant relate to it because the set design is somewhat post-apocalyptic.

could not watch the whole episode. this show had cool visual treatment but ahhhhhh!!! sorry can't stop yawning . as I was saying there was not really any thought put into this show. oh a off the books military unit up against so mutant bad guys.
BORING!
