    Pathetic.

    December 11, 2007
Weak. Just weak. I was amped up about watching a group of Scooby Doo-type meddling teenagers get in there and yuck it up with a bunch of spookies, but after last night, I wanted to put my head through the TV. The first episode took place in a house that had a young boy that was either developmentally disabled, or hard-of-hearing. He's the one that allegedly witnessed a ghost. This dream team of go-tards is made up of members specializing in different areas of the investigation. You have the main guy (who reveals later to the little boy that he has also seen ghosts as a child, the boy is completely indifferent to this information), a guy that's a psychologist, and 2 or 3 hot chicks that are onboard kinda to boob it up a little. One of the girls is a "counselor". She looks like she's about 16. (I'm sure her life experience will absolutely reassure anyone to open up with confidence.) Anyway, punctuating all the investigation is "director's log" commentaries which sound like they're coming from a 75 cent garage sale walkie-talkie. Well, the team gets the first house straightened out with some power-prayer and is on their way to the next adventure.

The next place is apparently so ghosty that they have to call for back-up. Fortunately, they were able to get ahold of a real Georgia fruit-loop who sashays in to lend a hand. After some intensive research into the house (which was 5 xeroxed articles), the team learns that a murder had taken place there and the victims were buried across the street in a cemetery. Of course, they couldn't check out the cemetery during the day, it had to be just before "dead time". Dead time to us civilians is 3AM. (Since ghosts and stuff are on a regular 24hour schedule like the rest of us, they schedule most of their spooking around 3 in the morning.) Fruity and the gang get a handle on the murder house and wrap up another satisfying episode...only to drop a teaser about next week when there is supposed to be a holy war or something.

If you can't watch this show or record it, you may also like: I Love New York III, MTV Cribs, or that infomercial for that little blender.

    great show!

I can personally state that the characters and events were real enactments. I am fascinated by the quality of editing and respect this as a great series of stories with substantiation as a goal. The show does exactly what it intended to do with great editing style. Screw the skeptics of the world, I can't wait to see them all.

It sucks you in, but may let you down a bit.

    December 31, 2007
It would be so easy for me to say that I don't like this show, but I don't think that's the case. I've become a bit addicted to it, much like I have Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi. The subject matter is great, the cases are truely interesting, and the victims are believable. All in all, it makes for a pretty good show.

However, there are a few things that disappoint me time and time again. I think the biggest thing is that the show is only 30 minutes long. I dont' think this is enough time to really give the viewers all the information on the case, give us the footage of the investigation, and really go indepth on the situation. Instead, you get a lot of buildup and then, in my opinion, a bigger let down as they confirm that things have gotten better, w/o really proving anything. I want to see more of their findings. I want to hear their tapes. I want to see their videos. Maybe I've become spoiled by shows like Ghost Hunters, but I just feel this show could be so much better if only alloted a bigger time slot.

Don't care for the show too much.

    July 25, 2008
I just think they are too eager to prove that everything is real. I believe in ghosts, not too sure about the demons, but I don't believe every place is haunted. It almost feels like watching a sitcom the way everything is all better in the end. Ghost Hunters is a lot better.

What I want to know is how old the reviewer RealDeal is. Witchcraft forbidden? Are you kidding? What century do you think you are in? Just because you don't "get" Pagan things doesn't mean it should be forbidden or that it is silly. Grow up or get back in the time machine.

    seen much better

    February 11, 2008
you can tell these are kids with little experience in real paranormal investigations. They dont disprove or discredit anything...everything is haunted...not just by a ghost...but by demons...the same demon over and over. I dont know what they are trying to accomplish...but they come across as a mix of NBC's Ghost Whisperer and SciFi's Ghost Hunters! If there is nothing else on..its worth a looksie, however, if your really into real investigations....Ghost Hunters on SciFi cant be beat!
