Declaring himself the anti-William “She Bangs” Hung, Paul Kim, 25, set out to prove to Randy, Paula and Simon – as well as America at large – that Asian singers could hit all the right notes on season 6 of “American Idol.” This perpetually barefoot singer currently lives in Saratoga, CA, and works as a pool maintenance technician. He grew up in San Jose, CA with a love of soul music and enjoys gardening in his free time.
