Born April 24, 1980 in Ann Arbor, MI to David and Kay Nichols, the future actor was raised in Austin, TX until the age of 18, whereupon he moved to Los Angeles. He graduated in 2002 from the University of Southern California in 2002, with an English degree, focusing on creative writing.
