Bristol Palin spent much of her formative teen years caught in the center of a media firestorm. The daughter of former Alaskan governor and 2008 Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, she endured public scrutiny after announcing she was pregnant with her high school boyfriend's child on the first day of the Republican National Convention. But before the world laid eyes on the poster girl for teen pregnancy, she was born Bristol Sheeran Marie Palin on Oct. 18, 1990 in Wasilla, Alaska, the eldest daughter and second child of Todd and Sarah Palin. She attended Juneau-Douglas High School, where she met a hockey player named Levi Johnston. They began dating in 2005 and were immediately on the fast track to a serious relationship.
